Defining Your Success.
From imposter syndrome to difficulty saying no, toxic work environments to a desire for a better work/life tension, academic coaching services are for you. Contact me for your free 30-minute consultation, where we will discuss your concerns and how coaching can help you reach your goals.
My coaching approach is holistic with the goal of acknowleging that you are a whole person—and thus seeking whole life integration. I will work with you to establish your voice and your worth, to recognize your power, and to establish and work toward realistic goals in both your personal and professional life. No matter where you are in your career—a graduate student on the market, an adjunct considering a career switch outside of academia, or a tenure-track/tenured faculty thinking about movingto a new academic position—coaching will help you reach your goals, deal with disappointment, and pivot to own your success.
Research shows that while there are plenty of women qualified for leadership positions, the number of women in these positions is still quite low, and for women of color, the number is even lower (Dunn, Gerlack, Hyle 2014; Shephard 2017; Dear 2016; Dominici, Fried, Zeger 2009). This training will focus on predetermined goals or can be tailored to assess problems within the leadership of your administration and report on appropriate measures to address areas of weakness. This training, appropriate for anyone in an administrative role or in seeking promotion, engages new paradigm leadership as its basic model.
Speaking & Intergroup Dialogue
I am available to speak at your event or workshop on topics related to women's leadership, academia, diversity & inclusiveness, intergroup/interfaith dialogue, or any of my research specialties: Judaism, apocalypses/end-of-the-world scenarios, early Christianity, and Jewish/Christian relations.
